This series really has me captured! I was initially weary about reading this because it seemed just like everything else I have read. It has vampires, young female love interest recently moved to a new place that is human. Then the 1^st book threw a curve by offering a cure to the curse.

Now in the 2^nd book of the series I thought that all would be great and Danielle and Ethan would get married and live happily ever after. Not so much. Now there are others that are upset about the cure that are wagering war. Some only want to be cured themselves, but they also pose a threat. With both Danielle and Ethan now being human, they can’t protect themselves. 

It is not only vampires that threaten the couple, but other creatures as well. The couple and their bodyguards choose to make a life changing decision and chance all that they have worked for to free themselves from this danger.

One thing that I can say is that the author doesn’t leave you hanging at the end of the books. This could be a good or bad thing. On one hand I like the fact that the book could be read as a stand-alone, on the other I think that readers may just stop reading thinking there is nothing to look forward to. 

I for one am going to keep reading! J
